- 12 oz green beans
- 2 tbsp tamari
- 1 tbsp black vinegar
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp Chinese five-spice
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Neutral oil and rice

Method
- 01Press tofu dry and whisk tamari, vinegar, maple, five-spice, ginger, garlic, and ¼ cup water.
- 02Pan-sear tofu in a hot skillet until crisp on at least two sides.
- 03Blister green beans in the same pan with a splash of water, then add the tofu back.
- 04Pour in sauce and toss 1 to 2 minutes until glazed; serve over rice.
